Our Association: Walhalla Shores Association is made up of 200+ lots with a variety of houses and cottages.  Association owners share private community beach access on all-sports Long Lake.  Our roads are year-round public county roads and we're goverened by a Deed of Restrictions and Association By-Laws, a copy of which can be found under the 'Information' tab on this site. 

Special Assessment Vote: 

Thank you to everyone who voted regarding the one-time special assessment of $50 per lot for improving the pavilion and bath house. To make sure everyone’s vote counted, the Board included the votes that came in late.  The Deed of Restrictions indicates that a special assessment vote must pass by 2/3rds or higher. With 59% of the lot owners voting, over 75% voted in favor of the special assessment for the pavilion and bath house improvement project! As indicated in previous communications regarding the the special assessment, the special assessment notice will be mailed out by September 1 and due October 1. This coincides with the project start date. And the pavilion will be ready for use in the spring of 2025!

Important Information about Boat Stickers: WSA members in good standing who want to use the boat launch and/or use the boat slips will need to obtain a new purple boat sticker. You can pick one up at the Meet and Greet event on Saturday, May 25 beginning at 6:00pm. Or, you can obtain the sticker from Lindsey Mitchell- garcialindsey4444@gmail.com or 517.945.1482. 

Building? Please remember that building plans need to be submitted, reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board.  This process is part of our by-laws and is usually quite painless.  Contact a board member for more information!
