Our Association: Walhalla Shores Association is made up of 200+ lots with a variety of houses and cottages.  Association owners share private community beach access on all-sports Long Lake.  Our roads are year-round public county roads and we're goverened by a Deed of Restrictions and Association By-Laws, a copy of which can be found under the 'Information' tab on this site.

Carol DeRuiter:

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Carol DeRuiter lost her battle with cancer last week. Carol was the secretary / board member for the last 4 years. She and her husband Ron built a cottage on E Navajo Trail where she loved spending time with her family and friends. She is already missed by many, and the board extends its sympathy and prayers to Ron and family.

We also wanted to let you know that the WSA Board will be contacting members who expressed interest in serving on the board at our last WSA Annual Business Meeting. We also want to open the opportunity of serving on the board to WSA members in good standing. Please email the board expressing you interest at walhallashores@gmail.com. We will update you once we have someone to complete Carol’s term.

As we get closer to Thanksgiving, pause, and list the many things you are grateful for like your place in Walhalla Shores, your family, friends, and health. Every day is a gift.

Important Information about Boat Stickers: WSA members in good standing who want to use the boat launch and/or use the boat slips will need to obtain a new purple boat sticker. You can pick one up at the Meet and Greet event on Saturday, May 25 beginning at 6:00pm. Or, you can obtain the sticker from Lindsey Mitchell- garcialindsey4444@gmail.com or 517.945.1482.

Building? Please remember that building plans need to be submitted, reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board.  This process is part of our by-laws and is usually quite painless.  Contact a board member for more information!
